How did you find out about Galactic Civilizations II?

So how did you hear about Galactic Civilizations II?  We've created a fairly detailed web poll (left side of this page).  We are very interested in finding out how people learned about this game. What's the best way to get the word out there and so forth.

I don't see a poll anywhere?
I downloaded the GalCiv2 demo from a news article on Civilization Fanatics. After that I decided to go out and buy it. I had no plan to download it - it was a spur of the moment thing. I'm glad I did buy it though...

Heard about G2 on Civ fanatics web sight. Looked good, so I bought it. Enjoy the game, and eagerly awaiting the offical 1.1 patch.

First heard of it in a French magazine (PC4war) but that's the gamespot review that decided me for GC2

In www.meristation.com (spanish site). They wrote a long article about the beta last october, if I recall correctly. It was just the day after I began my first game with GalCiv I !!! I knew something special was about to come

Heard of Gal Civ I lots earlier but found out that Gal Civ 2 was coming out through Penny-Arcade, then checked it out on Gamespot.

Tough one to answer, I voted Stardock as I definetly saw the game there however Internet Gamesites in general supported Galactic Civ II to some degree as I remeber reading about it on various sites including Penny Arcade I just can't be sure who was first

I saw a preview in a PC Zone UK and it impressed me! Brought it as soon as it was released and love the game. The last space stratagy game i realy loved playing was the first Imperium Galactica, until this game came along that is

Well I guess I'd vaguely heard of Galciv I around MOO3 time from Apolyton, but didn't buy it and forgot about it. Then I saw some news piece that said Stardock were negotiating for the rights to make Master of Magic 2 and here I am...(please make that game)

The poll is only available on the main GalCiv2 site and not in the forums (separate sites). You'll notice the web address. If it says forums.galciv2.com, then you need to be on www.galciv2.com to see it on the left link bar near the bottom.
