These are the notable settings I used in Snagit 2019 and 2020 - which one needs to capture a cursor.

Win10 Pro version 1909 OS build 18363.720 I've used CursorXP and CursorFX without issue with SnagIt for quite a few years. I was pleasantly pleased that I now see a cursor during system shutdown in Win10 with my upgrade to CursorFX4. However, there are a few screen capture issues with CursorFX4. The video screen captures using TechSmith's SnagIt and Camtasia faithfully reproduces CursorFX4 cursors. Screenshots issues from CursorFX4 cur
Well, actually Cursor FX 2.16 did have a notable issue for me on Win 10. With 2.16, I did not have a visible cursor during the system shut down. So if I had an issue with some program having an issue closing during system shut down, it could take a while trying to blindly move my mouse around the screen to click on a button to OK closing a program so Windows could shut down. Cursor FX4 fixed that problem - but I found an annoying bug with cursor transparency adversely affe
The software problem here with your computer and mine is more complicated than just messing with jscript. I ran the diagnostic tool for Microsoft VM on 6-19 and found nothing significant which would help me. I had and still have no problem with DesktopX. I am having a problem with WindowBlinds interfering with Photoshop Elements 2 though. IconPackager has a known and fixable problem (which also was screwing up my other programs). I now know Enhanced Dialog causes problems too. The commonal
An update, I spoke too soon about not having Enhanced Dialog. Although it does not show up in Stardock Central, I see it in my program file. The folder contains the empty folder Places and programs.ini. Do I only need to manually delete the Enhanced Dialog program folder? Also, eventhough IconPackager was and still uninstalled, I found iprepair.dll in the IconPackager program folder. I followed the instruction to unregister it. That was successfull and rebooted.
Hello, After editing my registry, IE works. I don't see Enhanced Dialog anywhere. I had uninstalled IconPackager. Could I reinstall IconPackager then run the regsvr32 fix?
I just fixed a big problem I was having with IE 6.0 that were traced to recent updates of Stardock programs. Also an iexplore.exe HKEY was missing. Besides messing with sending and receiving email in Outlook 2003, at least three other programs that are integrated with IE could not load in normal mode, although they ran fine in safe mode. I am hoping that this posting will help the software engineers track down the problem. I beg
Hello milovanov, I just finished troubleshooting some problems with IE 6.0 that were at least in part caused by some updates during the past several months. Like you I wanted to find the cause. Besides finding that several Stardock programs interfering with IE, with a lot of help from MS MVP Ramesh Srinivasan on another forum I found a missing iexplore.exe HKEY – among OTHER things. One of the symptoms I found that you did not mention is problems with other programs that
Thanks for the info. I just need to go through a bunch of troubleshooting steps to figure out what's gone wrong. I think a parasitic DLL from software distributed by my ISP did some minor damage which is why it has taken me several weeks to know that Explorer files have been compromised. During the same time period Explorer began having application hangs and behaving sluggishly, the only significant additions I was adding were weekly updates to Obje
Hello, I have problem with Explorer 6.0. It is corrupted or at least thinks it is. I have C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock\SDMCP.exe as a running startup process in safe mode. I need to get rid of it as a part of troubleshoot my problem. Is that program Stardock Central? If so, would removing it affect my Object Desktop programs? Does it even need to be running in the background of safe mode?
