Oh man, how annoying. Having to wait for my Paypal account to be unlimited... and it's the only way I can pay through TG because I have a Switch/Maestro card!

the russian development team has disbanded, unfortunately - there is a more recent russian patch, but no-one seems to want to translate it Oh man, what a shame. I hope Stardock are willing to do
Nice stuff. Was already on their boards anyway...maybe I have two accounts there now! Woo!
Nice. I hope it gets updates.
Actually, SG-1 is far from downhill without RDA. (Why it's the longest running scifi) It never revolved around RDA, and this is just proof. Season 9 and 10 have probably had the best writing so far in the show. Atlantis is a great spin off because it works brilliantly with SG-1 concurrently. (The crossovers make sense!) Nice ship.
Give them state of the art ships. They certainly won't go quietly into the night then.
I don't think there should be. Isn't this GalCiv 2 engine capable of updating itself to look better as machines get more powerful? Unlimited polygon counts anyone?
I didn't like SE4's design, but it had some really great features which made it a nice deep game. I liked how you can choose to have a bridge and secondary bridge. Choose how many fighter bays. GC2's is more on looks, but can be even deeper if it did stuff like that. Of course, for that I'd be sorta after a tweak in combat. Being able to target ship systems, being able to capture ships. Now that's space.
The designer of Civ 4, Soren Johnson, is in the GalCiv II credits. A few of the nicer UI tweaks in the game such as the turn button highlighting when you've moved all your units can be credited to him. Bah, that's the extent of you working together!? United you could make the hands down deepest bestest TBS ever! I wonder if a mod
Oh, why can't you and Firaxis work together?
I'm helping the Civ 4 ST mod, although I'm more of the trekkie guy that provides info to make sure the mod is..Trek. I can give conceptual ideas and such forth. That's the extent of what I could do for you though. *Is a crap modder* [email protected]
While we don't need to go into specifics of certain Sci fi properties. (like trying to have 'The Empire' itself) Why not just take the concepts. One thing I'm dying for is large capital carrier ships, which house hundreds of one seater fighters. Edit: Sorry for all those posts, my explorer kept d/c and all those posts only got shown 10 mins later :\ Can a mod please delete the extras. Thanks!

The other civ should have a choice to reject the surrender though. "Yeah great but..er...we can't afford to take you in right now...bye!"
Speaking of lots of fighters and stuff. I'm sorta icky that our small fighters aren't that small. What if when we build one 'fighter' we're actually buying 50 fighters. And what if, they can be docked into large capital carriers. I sorta like that type of space fleets. It just feels weird that one of my capital ships is only fighting 4-5 small fighters.
This is a very good idea. I usually come to a point where I keep learning new techs in quick succession. Which leaves me upgrading certain ships to fit the right components. If I was able to pre-design the combiniations of components I wanted for my ship, all I'd have to do in game is merely upgrade my ships and obsolete the weaker design. Also, if the feature was outside of the game, maybe then something special would be possible in sharing ship designs across t
Wouldn't there be some brave souls willing to make smuggling runs? When two nations are at war and trade goods become scarce, low supply high demand...don't tell me some brave soul wouldn't find a way to get rich quick.
Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster. Anyway, one thing that I seem to find weird is the emptiness of space. Sure, space is empty but that doesn't make it very interesting. What are thoughts on having squares that are nebulae, plasma storms and other spacial oddities. Something like the 'anomolies' that are already there but something consistent and not a 'goody hut' (if you pardon my civ expression) Imagine having a fleet battle in a nebulae which disrupts y
