I don't know what setting is wrong? But when I apply a skin, the bottom task bar is not transparent like the skins? I've tried moving the Transparent arrow, does nothing in the end. There must be a setting or two that's not right for me. Any ideas? Thanks. With the skin I'm using now the color of the text(under all my folders) is White, But the background is also White! I can't read the folder names! I don't supose anyone uses IE8. with Window Blinds??? This upgrade, I tried it and Nope.. Window Blinds apparenty from what Microsoft says, you can't use it(IE8) cuz it messes up my boxes where I type in things. Makes them micro small. So it's either don't use the Microsoft IE8 upgrade or get rid of Window Blinds.... [e digicons]X([/e] ......

Thank you for the input. IE is just so ---well, slow for one. Comes with so much un-needed stuff. Think I'll try Firefox....If it doesn't do good , I can always change back.

earlier today i tried Firefox. didn't like it-(couldn't use WB)-uninstalled it..ok.now I opened Window Blinds and wanted to choose a different skin from my collection. A new box opens and says: "where do you want to get the Visual Style from?" (download from WC or from my computer) WHAT is this???? Is it new???? Please help!!!!

UPDATE: i downloaded IE7---it was acting like IE6 and loading my pages TOO slow!(2/3minutes to open my home page)..even tho I liked IE7's set up much better,,,,I had to go back to Firefox.(;-( ) cuz it opens real quick.

Thank you very much. I just wasn't sure and don't want to mess things up on here. I switched to Firefox last night cuz the 'ratings' were top for it. But It will take time to get used to it. Or I'll go to IE7. I just need to 'update' my poorly working IE6.
