Having been absent from this community (GalCiv palyers) for many years it was a pleasant surprise to find that there is a GC3 coming in the future and, more importantly, still I lively and diverse community of faithful fans here. I will be sure to return again, hopefully sooner than in a few years this time, and check the new game out! FOR HONOR ANS JUSTICE!

Hello to all!!! I am still slugging away on a game that has been over a month in RL to play with nothing but the mop up to continue. Of course on a Gigantic Maso, the mop up will likely take me another week or more of RL (8 to 10 hours of game time) to complete. Happy hunting to all and don't forget to stop into my restaurant, "Thalan Legs" for...well, some fresh Thalan legs!!!

I have added to my list of things to do in my first 3M-A game to get 4 economy SB's in each sector I control with as much overlap as possible to adjoining sectors' planets. This, combined with the fact that I really waited too long to build farms and VR centers in my latest v1.4 game, has really slowed the progression of the game with all of the micromanagement inherent with all these SB's (scattered gigantic and I have 130+ planets after the rush)! Mistralok did a good job of describing the Metaverse and Empires in his first post. I'd recommend that if you're interested in joining an empire that you read through some of the empire threads and find one that best suits you. Some empires are theme based, some are not. By reading through a few pages of each, you'll get a pretty good feel for the type of people that are active there. Have fun with the game and happy hunting!

I've got to give props to the Hidar character! (That was one devious dude!) I've always liked the idea of a themed empire and wish you guys good fortune and fun.
