Thanks for all the replies, I haven't had time yet to implement them all (I tried the omega drivers but still had the same problem) but I'll give them all a go!! Incidently can anyone recommend a good alternative graphics card? I currently have a 256Mb ATI X600 Pro, which I'm going to switch to another machine and I wondered if any one had any thoughts? Either PCI-E or AGP 8x. Around the £50-£100 mark. Thanks in advance. Patt

I've had GalCiv2 for about 2 weeks now, but have yet to finish a game as my PC keeps freezing (black screen, needs to be rebooted). I've downloaded all the latest drivers (Graphics, sound, etc) but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help as this is driving me nuts!!
