I figured out where the issue is coming from. It's with a mod I've been working on. I've made three mods previously that have uploaded no problem, but when I put this one in the "Ideology Tree" folder, it causes the above mentioned issue. I copy-pasted the format from previous mods but that doesn't seem to work. Did I change a value of or alter something vital to the game to cause this?
Uninstalled or disabled all antivirus, and wouldn't have malware anywhere at least to my knowledge.

The game launches fine, I can select characters (though my created characters are never there), and start a game normally. But when I start a new campaign, the states are locked either blue, red, or purple, I can't select or pull up anything, I can't even exit the game when pressing escape.
