[fatal bug] GalCiv 2 crashes my computer every 15-30 mins in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I play alot of games on my computer, from Civ4 to City of Heroes, to Eve, to HL2, to B&W2, etc. Now, my computer locks up every once in a while, but not like how ofen GalCiv2 locks up my computer. I've played two games thus far. The first game was a two hour game, that locked up my computer twice. The second game, the one I am trying to play now, has locked up my computer twice in the hour I've been playing. This is obviously unplayable as it is, and very fustrating. Please help.<br/

Hello folks -- First, window mode does not work for me. I am running the game with "C:\Program Files\games\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe" w, but no window mode, and I have full screen deselected, and no window mode. Other games work in window mode just fine (like Civ4). My computer setup: AMD FX Asus A8V Deluxe 2GB RAM nVidia 6800 Ultra, running driver version 81.98, dual monitors Creative Audigy 2zs, with latest drivers And fo
