Dow about activating my account as well. I registered as Drakos.

I registered on the site weeks ago, but my account still hasn't been activated. I registered there as Drakos.
I went to the web site and registered several weeks age. The site sent me a confirmation that I was registered, but that my account would have to be activated by a moderator. It has been weeks and still not active, is the site not accepting new people?
I have alot of the B5 Wars 2nd edition stuff. If needed I could probably look some stuff up as well.
Yes one younger race (member of League of Non-Aligned) had shields but it wasn't the Vree. It was a pacifist race called the Abbai Matriarchate. They were an aquatic race governed by a Matriarch.
I'm having the same problem with the wrong graphics appearing.
I think the idea is to make a custome program which allows for dropdowns to make the editing as easy as posible. Any text editor will allow those comfortable with XML to mod the game, but this would be a tool for the less tech inclined.
I was going to do it in C#, using the .net framework. It's what I use at work and I have it at home so...
I was actually considering making these programs as well. What development tool/language do you plan to use? I started to make a program to do this but realized, I have no idea what all the avaliable tags are. I know the ones in the current files, bat are there some we don't know about?
My personal preference would be to give it a high priority. I like to play this game but it gets boring without anyone to play with. I guess to understand this you need to know where I am comming from. I got started on these types of games playing VGA Planets, an old PBEM game. I loved MOO and MOO2 (MOO 3 was ok but I had alot of issues with it). I like pitting myself vs my friends for domination of the universe. Sure it can take alot of time to finish a turn based game with other players
Well, you can still use the B5 (or any other) ships in the game without overwritting anything. The problem is that you will need to modify an XML file to add references to the hulls. Or you could save a copy of the ship modles you are replacing with the new ships. The fist option gives you more ship hulls while the latter option replaces existing hulls but is easier for those not comfortable editing XML.
Now that GalCiv1.1 is out is the Mods directory working yet? If so is there a guide on how to use it? Thanks
