I wouldn't mind having the update myself! But, like giyorg said, the link's broken. :-s Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't understand why anyone would want to inflict damage on innocent users. They ought to send the guy to a mental institution after he serves his fifteen years.
Also provide version numbers of WindowBlinds, DesktopX, etc.
I fixed it. If anyone has this problem in the future and happens to stumble upon this thread, here's what I did: (1) Downloaded Startup Control Panel: http://download.com.com/3000-2094-1539340.html?tag=lst-0-3 (2) Went into Start->Control Panel->Startup (3) Clicked the "Startup (Common)" tab (4) Right clicked the ObjectDock icon and clicked Send To->HKLM (Run) (5) Closed the program and restarted to see if it worked. Again, I'd like to thank you all for your assista
Yeah, I think I'll go for the format/reinstall. Thanks guys.
The program didn't start up when I did that.
OK, I went in again and unchecked the "Common Startup" one. The program is not loading on startup now, and the option for the "Startup" one has disappeared (the "Common Startup" one is still in there but is unchecked). I double checked in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup C:\Documents and Settings\Nick\Start Menu\Programs\Startup I'm out for the night, but I'll
(And the configuration window still comes up whenever the program does, if I didn't make that clear enough.)
Sounds like a promising solution, but when I uncheck one of the two instances, the other one also is unchecked. If I re-check it, they both are re-checked. For the location field, one is "Common Startup" and the other is just "Startup". Any idea? Thanks again for helping me out with this stuff!
That didn't work, so I tried re-installing ObjectDock. The installer created a shortcut in the startup folder this time with the correct settings ("C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock" and "C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\ObjectDock.exe"). However, the configuration window is still popping up on startup.
Correct.
Thanks for the help, but the configuration window is still popping up when my computer starts... Any other ideas for me to try?
Yikes, are you guys still around? It's happening again... Shortcut is in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" and points to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\ObjectDock.exe". There's also a setting in the shortcut properties called "Start In" and its value is "C:\PROGRA~1\Stardock\OBJECT~2". Thanks again for any advice. Nick
Thanks for your replies (I don't usually get any on here :/ ), but it somehow worked itself out and doesn't do that anymore. Strange. Anyway, thanks again.
Also, I'm running the latest version as of yesterday, if that helps.
I added a shortcut to ObjectDock to my startup folder, but now every time I start Windows the configuration window pops up when OD does. Does anyone have any idea about how I might be able to fix this? I would be very grateful for any advice... Thanks, Nick
i make fifty bucks an hour when i have work. so let's see...i waste about 10-14 hours a day on school (so let's average and say 12). 12 x 50 = 600 (in one day) = hella lot of money how 'bout them apples?
i'm having trouble with dxtoys... when i try to include SongDetails under the media player category, it simply shows nothing when i click "test" or when i click "validate"/"apply". i've configured the parameters correctly i think (default player / title / 0 / 0). i've tried using both winamp 2.91 and the stardock player, and it doesn't work either way. any ideas? thanks for reading and any
