A more dynamic and more complex economic system - not so much that the game is bogged down with unwanted statistics, but enough to give a prudent long term strategy a go... 1) Budgetary policy - taxes and all that are standard, but if we have a more fluid, dynamic economy, with just some simple variables like community spending, tax rebates, social services etc. could stimulate domestic growth. 2) Monetary policy - interest rates could be fun to toggle around with. 3)
