Is there somebody at Stardock whose mission is to devise obtuse GUIs? The one with RightClick was bad enough, but Object Dock 2 is really awful. Everything's a dropdown. WHY? There aren't that many options that you couldn't just display a row or two of tick boxes. You can keep my $10, but I'll stick with the slightly less dreadfully organised Object Dock 1.9. Stop making menu options dropdowns! It's not stylish, it's just a waste of developer time!

SOLVED??? Same here on two different Vista Ultimate PCs. I found that the RCBars\Imports\Icons folder only had the (hidden in config) Object Dock icon in it, so I copied the icons from a backup (yes, Stardock - your apps have to be backed up ALL the time). RC then works enough to edit. Whether the new config will stick is another thing. This is really shoddy programming, guys, and the worst thing is this issue has been going for YEARS. Two major problems with IPv4.163: 1. Keeps asking for activation EVERY time! 2. File and drive icons change arbitrarily to random wrong icons no matter how much I save and back up. IP v3## used to be stable. IconPackager v4 is a nightmare.

You can also put a shortcut to presstart.exe, but the menu still comes up at the bottom left. What i would like is: 1. A save option, instead of relying on RC to do it blind - which isn't 100% reliable, though backing up the RC folder when happy is useful. 2. Redesign the bizarre shortcut image custom size dialog - does it really need to open three windows to adjust the image size? - And you can't resize the taskbar icon blah blah... And thanks loads for the Ctrl+RC tip - w
