While GalCivII is a great game, I have to look at the times that games have been turned into movie and TV series, and vice versa. Very rarely does something actually make a good translation from one media to the other. If it were to be made into a series or movie I would perfer it to be one made by the community on the net. Sort of like how the seriers Red vs Blue started.

There is one little suggestion i have for stardock though. Your beta testers, if you are paying them, fire them. If they got a free game, cancel/block their serials and blacklist them for any future beta testing. Some of the issues are so obvious and appearent it took me 10 min's into game to notice and recreate them. I fail to see how they would not have noticed those. I was checking SD today to see if there were any more multimedia updates that have been going on for the past few weeks, and when I looked GalCiv II beta was gone from the Purchased section and now is sitting in the Demo part of SD. Is something wrong with my SD, or is this part of the preperations for GalCiv II's arrival?
