It would be nice to have more options to control the basic shape of the galaxy.. for instance, ring shaped or spiral galaxies.

The last time I played I set the ships to auto-launch and noticed that transports were auto-launching with a full crew. Maybe you should try that.

All of one of my enimy's planets rebeled and joined my empire, but that race wasn't taken off of the deplomicy screen and they never lost. Much more distressing; when I clicked on the status button on that race the game crashed.
