Is there some sort of system for strip-mining planets? I damn near dropped my jaw when the scene involving what looked like the atmosphere of a planet being siphoned off by some capital ships briefly appeared in the trailer. EDIT: lol disregard, I was thinking of "Sins of a Solar Empire"
I agree with the points you’ve made, Stardock shouldn’t be shy about taking a peak into the planet system that SE4 had… or rather has considering that I just finished a game not even a couple hours ago. The only problem I have with the selected dates is that all the stuff that Im looking forwards to is being released right when university starts up again... no bloody time to enjoy the damn games. One of the biggest gripes that I had with GC2 when I first picked it up was th
Heres a shot in the dark.... An rpg along the lines of Freelancer and the like... but as an added twist you can import galactic data from Galciv2 and the general universe would be based on that... talk about replay value... as well as the fact that it would be totally awesome to play a game in GC2 to the point where all the major players are established, then switch over to the rpg for some open-ended sweetness... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.gi
lol, You can be good and hold hands with all the slimy xenos... And Ill be at the head of the Terran Imperial Forces slaughtering everything that isnt Human EDIT: besides, what about the Yor Collective? Isnt their ultimate purpose centered around wiping out every other species? This would actually put some weight behind their words.
Good idea, however if you implement that system, the player should also be given the option to commit genocide in order to “purify” their respective planets and ensure that such dissent caused by alien races does not affect them… Obviously, this would be an evil act… but you cannot punish a player for having aliens complain, give them the option to remove the dissenters.
