What are the plans for integrating Google Gadgets into DesktopX. If the objective of DesktopX 4 is to get back to its roots in extensions, it seems like it is necessary to integrate and work with Google Gadgets. Finding the key to the desktop gadget - extension concept seems to be a struggle. Any thoughts about cross platform gadgets - iphone?
The promise of DesktopX is really cool and you guys have done some good stuff going back to the days of Taligent. However, the bar is significantly higher today. Have you looked at some of the work that has been done by SRI International under DOD funds with CALO (Cognitive Assistant that Learns and Organizes) and PAL (Personalized Assistant that Learns). The DOD, SRI, and others are trying to create a smart desktop and not just a pretty desktop. It would be really neat if you could incorp
