Sigh. So I should have kept scrolling through the Bugs pages. On page five was a reply to the same problem from Kryo. The jittery problem is a CPU problem, just like he said. Downloaded the recommended file. Restart. Viola!! Fixed. Jason

Bought DA a couple weeks ago. Haven't played GCII in a while, but I was enjoying playing again. Upgraded my computer a few days ago and bought a GeForce 8800 GTS. Loaded the drivers that came with the card. Version 9792. DA ran fine, if a bit slow, on my old computer. Because my old computer was so old, I needed a new motherboard. That meant a new processor, video card, hard drive, and RAM. I reinstalled Windows and redownloaded GCII and DA. I love the download a

One of my two planets, Mars, never got past 2.56 billion people. Approval was at 80% but the planet never grew. At the end of the game, which didn't take long because I had only two planets, Mars was listed as my most populous colony even though Earth had 17 billion people. Saved game available if needed.

The production sliders work exactly like they did in GC1. But in GC1 you wasted both Social AND Military production. And there was no "focus" button to minimize waste. Unfortunately when this happens, closing the game doesn't bring the crusor back. Had to reboot. Luckily, this isn't as maddening as the vide

I think removing the debt cap at higher levels would be a good thing. In GalCiv 1 if you went far enough into the hole you couldn't build anything. It would happen to troubled civilizations frequently. I'm not sure what from. (suing for peace, maybe) I think that you should still be able to build stuff BUT I would like to see interest charged. Whether the AI could handle that, I dn't know. But perhaps limiting AI indebtedness would be i

Thanks for the heads-up. I probably would have gotten around to wondering "Where is that Gal Civ I feature?" Not that I ever used "destabilize" in Gal Civ 1.

I believe so. Either that or the ship wasn't actually getting built. I will have to check. Although if there was an "auto-launch" ships button like in Gal Civ I then this wouldn't be a problem as you would get to move the ship. But not getting a message would be annoying.
