Confirmed! At least for my rig, when the game is set to 1024x768 the scroll bar in the interface menu will only go far enough down to show only the parts rotation selector and nothing else. Has any one else noticed this?

Ahhh! Found it, I changed resolution and there it was. For some reason on the lowest resolution it would not display even when pressing the scroll bar all the way down. Now I can enjoy my extremely long immense galaxy games!
Depending on your resolution setting, they are probably not shown. USE the "SCOLL BAR" that appears on the right side of the menu for the settings. That should do it!
I did that, nothing there, I did a complete reinstall, nothing but the ability to change the amount of rotation.
Did the settings for the ship designer get nerfed? All I can find is the setting to change the amount of deg change for the ship parts, where did the setting to keep the parts on the existing ship when upgrading? I really hate having to add the different modules (colony, transport, constructor, etc...) every time I want to upgrade my ships. especially if all I am doing is replacing engines and life support modules.
I went through every one and did not find it, All I had on Ship builder interface was the selector to change the amount of rotation of parts. Edit[pulled wrong quote.]
I would like to see the ship building ai also design new support ships (colony ships, constructors, mining ships, and transports and such,) as new engine, life support, and sensor techs become available. Also is it just me or did they take out the option to leave components on the ship when you want to upgrade? If so I would like that back in.
Well mine is low, but not that low. ;) ;) ;)
Me too! Sins spoiled me, I went to play TA and felt like I had all thumbs. :d

Before you spend money on a new card you might also try 3DAnalyze, it emmulates diff cards and I had the same prob as you. I cant remeber the link but a search in the forum should pull it up along with the settings you need to choose.
I used to have the same problem. I changed my page file to 2gig and now I no longer have that problem. Now the game only crahes for other reasons (after many more hours of play.)
I had GalCiv1 so you could say that I heard about it from Sardock. BTW I can't see how to vote either.
