Fanamar

I am playing the ToA campaign and when I get to the point where I am suppose to blow up the star with my "Fully operational terrorstar"; The nice game asks me "Are you sure you want to blow you and all your colonies up?" (I'm paraphrasing), to which I answer "That is the victory condition so....full steam ahead: Blow it all up.....blow it up real good!!!" (actually that is in my head...I just click on 'yes'). Then....nothing.....the terrorstar doesn't move - doesn't do anything...no

I have the most up to date drivers and a relativly new computer and I still have consistant crashes during the campaign. I have uninstalled, re-installed checked for most recent drivers, cleansed the computer of all possible interferences and I still get crashes near the end of one of the campaign module "Achilles heel".
