Since Brad and company have basically said that GC2 is unlikely to ever go MP it seems slightly silly to have a paid for game sitting on your shelf unplayed. I am unlikely to play SEV in MP since it will likely be similar to SEIV MP which is a marathon length event. Frankly I don't know who has 10-12 hours for a single MP game unless they live in their mom's basement.

I am still testing and getting updates as the game progresses (today's update was 0.81a.015 and a multi media update as well)) but I was wondering if there is any where I can see the changes made with these updates? Near as I can tell the history file that SDC points is from December and hasn't included the changes and tweaks to the last 4 or 5 updates. I hate to post this because it will get nerfed but I suppose.... While watching the very cool battle scenes I noticed that the combat AI seems to concentrate all fire at the largest of my ships until that ship is dead. Solution? Make one or two of your largest hulls into a dumb target. Put one weapon (sometime the AI ignores it if it doesn't have one gun at least) and then fill the rest up with defense. I just won my first game! That bit aside the ending scores seem outrageously out of whack. (I suspect these are known issues but I will post them nonetheless) Despite more than tripling the research of any other race my tech score was 2nd to last and all of my other scores were in the bottom half as well. If your civilization can make a 3 or 8 point fleet in outer space, fly it across the galaxy, and then conduct detailed ops with it in fleet mode then the ships in orbit during a planetary defense should be controlled as a fleet too. It is hard to diagnose this bug since it simpy freezes the game and never comes back after ending a turn (no error message generated) but I have run into it probably 100 times so far. It seems to freeze whenever I am in good diplomatic standing with all other Civs, have many active trade routes and the computer has built too many freighters. This may be a known in theis build but when the new AI diplomacy screens make you a tech for tech offer the actual trade listed is simply their tech in exchange for nothing from you at all. Don't get me wrong I love the free techs but still...

What is the result of a 7% improvement of a class 20 planet? Thats right... 1 more square. For 80% of your starting points? One square? even more ridiculous is that the increase is the same with the lower ability of 5% for 3 points? You pay more than double for a 2% difference? This should either be fixed or simply removed.
