I purchased this through StarDock. Is there a way to get a desktop shortcut to play this, so I don't have to go into Stardock central everytime I want to play?
daringly
I'm in a major war with the Drengin. Deep inside my own territory, I am assembling a fleet of ships and transports. The terrans build an economy base near my home planet, and promptly declare war on me since my attack fleet was near where they placed a starbase. I've had two winnable games in a row get shot because of the AI building bases in my territory near my attack fleets. This is annoying.
I'm running the most recent patch, and I've had this happen a couple times. Both times I invaded planets that had 10B people with "information warfare". both times I had a hughe number (like yours) start there, so the whole universe went under my control. before they died off, a major planet would flip to me. it is a game-ending bug.
In about half the games I play, I have this problem so much the game is unplayable. Anytime I scroll in any direction,, the grid disappears and the screen flutters around a nebula (in 3-d). After a bit, it will re-center on whatever active ship I have. As soon as I scroll again, l resume the nebula flutter. I can play without scrolling, but that is a major hassle.
