I just reinstalled after not playing for a lng while. After a short time playing the animations in the viewing windows (rotating ships and planets) go all crazy and the map scrolling is all over the place. I've tried adjusting the video setting and all my drivers are up to date. It makes the game unplayable. You probably have an Athlon64x2 processor--go to AMD's website and grab the latest CPU driver there, that should solve the
Jumping JoJo on a pogo stick that's a bump from the past...
Hmm.. I've tried everything but that.
I like the new system. In the past I really did not have to pay to much attention to how I developed my worlds and would rush to grab every plant in range. Now I have to do some real planning.
BUMP from the past.
Thanks! I looked for something like that but did not see it. I'll look again.
Ok thanks all
Is there a way to stop the computer from auto-removing the ship's components when the upgrade button is selected?
Why brother building power plants that give a precentage production boost when I can just build a new factory that will give me more production power?
I was getting to 100% then going back to 0%. I closed Statdock and started over and evything worked fine. Try starting over.
I cancled and restarted and got it to work. I had the beta and did not uninstall. It appears to be working fine. I just watched the intro. Now back to the game.
Dang I'm starting over. AHAHA
I just watched it get to 100% then it weht right back to zero and started over. Any one else getting this?
My download precentage keeps falling back by large amounts. It will get to 75% and then the next time I look at it its at 30%. I evben when to the store and bought everything on the wife's list and when I got back it was lower than when I left.
Hi all. I just bought and downloaded this add-on and I would like to ask some questions about the game play but I did not see a dedicated forum for it. Where is the best place to post my questions?
I want to start a new game and I want to get rid of all my old ship designs from the last game I played. Is there an easy way to do this, delete some files somewhere, or do I have to load the last saved game and deleted them from in game?
What I have never seen is a fantasy turn-based tactical game, something on the scale of Talonsoft's Battleground series. I loved MoM but it is dated now and many games have somewhat copied its style. What I would like to see is some type of 4x but with huge battles, not just 8 to 10 pieces per side. Picture hundreds of units on each side with the tactics and combat results modeled as accurately as possible. I would love to play a turn-base tactical game that involvers the siege of a castle. It’s
I would buy a standalone version of a Tactical Combat system. It would be a great way to fund the R&D for adding it into GC3.
Tatical battles is what I loved best about MOO2. The trick is to find a balance in the size of the battles. Bigger is not always better.
True I was thinking of speed.
One of the best ways to approach this type of game is to set up a routine. For example you might do things in the following order: 1. Pick the technology you want to research. I normally start of researching engines so I can get better range out of my ships. 2. Adjust economic Keep an eye on you income do not allow yourself to go into the negative 3. Conduct Diplomacy - check and see if anyone is willing to trade or can be talked into supporting your efforts 4. Set pl
Sorry if this has already been brought up but I've been off the boards for a while. When I zoom in on the map I do not get the 3D map objects. The planets stay as the owner’s symbol or little circles and the ships retain the 2D sprit they had while zoomed out. Any ideas on what is going on?
I use Troop Transports myself. When transporting population to the destination planet, max out the load slider (100%) and when leaving the destination planet just load 1%.
I will not pay for multi-player but I would pay for PBEM WEGO system.
