*Make minor races EXACTLY like major races except they don't start with very little money (maybe 500 instead of 5000), no ships, less population (maybe half), no technology, and no starport. However, they would colonize, build fleets, and explore just like any other civ (once they finally get up and running). *Make it so that ships orbiting a planet automatically fight as a fleet. *Add in logisitcs and miniturization to the abilities list. *Introduce negative ability

Ok I have a question about my AI opponents. When I set up a game and choose a race for the first time I have between 7-10 points to allocate for the standard races. After I allocate the points, and start a new game I notice that DA saves my point allocations and the next time I see different stats in the race overview. How does this effect the AI? After I allocate points to a race, does the AI keep the new stats, or does it get to allocate it's own points, or does the AI keep the base stats? I'm

I'm also in favor of mega events. Again as most everybody has said, I think that there their should either be a checkbox or a slider to control the frequency of these mega events. I don't care if mega events create unbalance, as long as they are fun. My suggestion would also be for a massive Dread Lord invasion in the sandbox game. I also like the minor race Alexander idea, though non of them have sounded too bad.

I wish the minors had normal AI, and were the same as the other races in every way except that they wouldn't get any starting perks. No ships, no money, no techs. I think without the 5000 credits, a colony ship, a exploration flag ship, and a couple techs they would take far longer to become a power than the other races. However, if they did catch a few lucky breaks then they could become galatic powers.

One comment about Civ3:PtW. Although it did add multiplayer, this was a feature that was supposed to be in Civ3, but was eventually cut so the game could ship. Only months before Civ3 came out Firaxis was making vague promises about the multiplayer in Civ3, then the game shipped without multiplayer. All in all Civ3 was a disappointment, and it seemed like it had a busted development cycle. Fortunantly Civ4, more than made up for civ3!

I think that Dark Avatar does have enough new features to qualify it as an expansion, so on that count S1Genocide is wrong; however, I think he has a valid point. What he's reallying complaining about is that the facets of gameplay Dark Avatar focuses on doesn't appeal to him. The real question isn't if this is a real expansion, or does the amount of new content justify its price tag, but did the design team choose the correct aspects of game play to improve and/or extend. This comes down to a p
