You must be kidding me? You've already made your money off the furst sale of the product, why should Stardock make any more money off a resale? You're not going to have to provide any more support to the person who buys a second hand game other than transferring the serial which costs you nothing. Under your logic, there wouldn't be a second hand car market for instance.</
I played the beta and remember how the ship trails used to look and function, and I find that now that I'm playing the full game, the trails are completely missing, except from premade ships (Defender, Scout, etc.) On a few of mu custom ships it seemed like I could maybe make out the very tip of a trail, as though the trail were moved too far inside the hull and therefore almost completely obscured. I too agree with Brad's comments. I play many games online, but certain games just don't have the appeal there, TBS games being at the front. The only form of multiplayer I do wish that Gal Civ II had is Hotseat. It's the only multiplayer I play in turn-based games (with my old buddy/current college roommate) and it can be great fun.
