Indeed, but you designed both in very different "moods" so to speak, judging by your own posts about the latter... using my own impression and terms here, let's say you designed GC2 (brilliantly) ala Brad, while you designed the original EWoM ala Shafer... The insults from the "geniuses" here I couldn't care less about, so spare them for somebody else that cares about people full of inferiority complex. That's that. Your point is interesting. I know corporate matters in and ou

yet Soren designed Civilization 4 and Shafer designed Civilization 5... the HUGE difference between the two is out there for anyone to see it. Chanta!
Oh, let's just be honest here. Don't forget to put the crackers into the discussion. Yes, I know, it is illegal. But they exist. And this type of decision is only sweet juice for them. They will have a party with this. The problem is, many people that disagree with this decision will go after the cracked solution, and the crackers will probably have one of the biggest bot-trojan-whatever distributions in history, all thanks to a stupid decision like this. Let's talk re
ok, I had to uninstall and reinstall SC to make it work. No idea why. After uninstall/reinstall, the update showed up and installed without a problem. I assume 1.95 is save compatible.
Jesus Christ... why did you invent Impulse??? Everything was fine with Stardock Central... now I'm starting to regret having bought the entire collection... once again, the legitimate owners get punished with a new attempt at curbing piracy, while they get the updates easily in .zip format... did you take a look at the torrents lately? Why are we punished? Please let me update from Stardock, as usual.
I am not seeing it in Stardock Central. What is wrong?
[quote]is it worth your while to check your sliders each turn to make sure your allocating the minimum percentage it takes to finish a tech or a building or ship in a certain number of turns?Oh goodness no. This game can last hundreds of turns, and micromanaging these can make you crazy. Now, some players enjoy this type of thing; squeezing out every last bc or mp in a turn. If this is your cup of tea, then knock yourself out. As for me, I tend to use broad strokes. If I find myself in a shootin
now just disable tech trading and you'll really feel among different species... ;)
strange... no crashes here... two Gigantic games, 10 mayor civs, and now one immense, 10 civs, no single crash. Must be your system related. sorry. Post info, the guys here will help you for sure. By the way, great game, and HUGE expansion. You should open something like a Games Developers University. ;) c-ya
Yeap, the logistics seem to be "unfair"... In my very first game of GC2, on all Intelligent, I found myself dominating the battlefield (battlespace? ) only because I focused on Building techs. I think the problem is in Linearity. The logistics system is LINEAR (2,3,4...), while if you think on a spaceship, I would say the logistics needed to support a
