One note on Yggdrasil (sp?). It is the world tree from Norse mythology, but in the world of SF it is the name of a tree ship in the Hyperion series. I'm waiting to see local references from Michigan... particularly the town GalCiv was written in. Nothing yet, but maybe there'll be something in the expansion pack. ~SDC~
Perhaps someone has posted this, maybe no. I imagine more than one person has run into it, so sorry if there are already 10 posts on it. When a civilization is eliminated in the game, they do not always get complete removed. Their starbases remain, as do their faces in the foriegn relations screen. Sometimes the game figures out it has made an error and gets rid of the non-existant race, but other times it stays forever. Either way, on the foriegn relations screen, when you try to look
