At release, GalCiv 3 requires 64-bit Windows 7 or 8+. I have 64-bit Windows Vista, and updating is not a possibility at this time. The rest of my system resources handily meet the requirements: Intel Core2 Quad CPU @2.33GHz, 8GB of RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD 4800 series with 1GB of VRAM. As a corollary question, do DA gameplay changes replace the DL originals, or are they an option ? While I like the idea of many of the gameplay changes (esp. colony types), I'm not sure how I feel about others, and can imagine wanting to play both types of scenario down the line.
