MonkeyLogic, the original poster was mixing suggestions AND bugs.. the HP and range things are bugs! He agrees with you, but the game doesn't. It DOES those things. And the right-click on a building in the build list to choose an older version to build? That's a great idea, interface-wise.

I didn't read any of the german reviews... do they only attack the AI? Or do they have other issues? Cuz if they are only harping on the AI "cheating", well.. nearly every single-player game on the planet has cheating AI. Why knock a game for that unfairly?
Can you save and load a Metaverse game and still post upon the game's conclusion? Yes, certainly.
I just keep the shipyard on the "user" tab.
1) AI & Farms: the AI definitely builds farms. I've captured worlds that are overbuilt with farms and I have to promptly scuttle 3 or 4 of them. 2) AI & Troops: I haven't had a problem here. Of course, I don't go farm crazy so most of my planets have 5 or 10b people. 3) AI & resource tiles: Agreed. I've seen this a lot. The AI seems compell
Oh yeah. Thanks!
That poster rocks!
Unless you display even hidden files! (which I do.) (not that I care, I have a bunch of games that tossed stuff in there.)
GalCiv1 had this same problem. People just aren't used to difficulty levels adjusting what the AI actually does, rather than just giving it more or less money. They see the AI on "normal" do something stupid, and think stupid AI; not realizing that yes, it is a stupid AI. At "normal" it's supposed to be! Not that the AI is perfect or anything even on Intelligent, just saying.
Regarding the morale resource: read the book Angelmass by Timothy Zahn. (it's about a a morale resource, basically.)
I'd like a "fill in the money" button. Moving the slider to find that it turns from green to red at 618 bc is just silly.
