I'm getting a similar issue; I've had it happen in two consecutive games so far. 1. Launch game as normal (in one case it occured after a fresh boot) 2. Play game until first Autosave occurs ---> Game will lock up during with the "SAVING" bar on the bottom of the screen. At that point I've had to C-A-D to end the game's task.
