good enough. thanks!
I don't want to clutter up the bug reports thread with such small things. I have noticed that in the text describing the player's empire in the bottom left corner of the galaxy creation screen, thee is a "s" added to the end of your empire name. Even with the default empire name there, that added "s" just doesn't make sense, since with it present the text reads "The Terran Alliances, under the rule of it's leader, Alan Bradley [...]" It hasn't stopped me from playing
There. :P
The game comes with a serial number. Like other games come with a CD-key. Same thing. I bought mine online,so my serial was emailed to me. I don't know what else to say. Look harder? :notsure:
For the inconsistancy of the AI refusing a money-for-money trade that is in their advantage: Would it be possible to eliminate the ability for both sides to offer money in a single trade deal? Like, check which side was offering more money, and update the trade terms to match it? I.E. Humans offer 60 BC to Drengins, then add a term requesting 50 BC from them. The trade terms would simply show the humans offering 10 BC to the Drengins, and not requesting any BC from them.
Is it possible that you were trying to attack the planet with your ship while the planet was undefended?
AdamTG and Vogar: I have had that happen to me a few times. I was able to make the turn progress normally by going to the main galaxy view and pressing the keyboard quick key to end turn (enter key I think?)
No idea if this is actually untentional, but you are able to rename ships belonging to enemy empires. (haven't tried with anything else) This just feels wrong to me. Also, do the computer players ever use non-default ship names? This is cosmetic, I know. :P
Right. Eight squares. I can't handle simple 2d calculations in my head when the game is not in front of me, lol. Anyway, I asked because when a starbase is around a resource, the resource sort of shifts and appears to be on multiple squares at once. Ok...whew. Thanks for the reply, anyway :P
Heck, I didn't even realize you COULD build starbases anywhere but on resources until yesterday. ;) I found out after purchasing a starbase from a neighbouring empire. The next turn they built another starbase RIGHT beside the one I just bought. I was annoyed at first... then delighted when I realized I could do the same. :D Question: do all four squares around a resource benefit from said resource if you build a starbase in each one?
