I would agree Kermut...the controls do seem a bit off to me. I think that the devs should play Homeworld 2 for a couple of minutes and see what they can do to make some sort of parallel system...that is, if they haven't already done so. Darrenl, I think the guys from Ironclad are some of the guys who MADE Homeworld <img onload="setImageSize_onLoad(650,this);" s
Hey all, First...you promised this game wouldn't be fun and it is...shame on you Second, I'm wondering if anyone else would like to see standard naval ranks be given to capital ships instead of a level number as we currently see. I would suggest this list: - Ensign - Lt - Lt. Cmdr - Cmdr - Captain - Rear Admiral - Vice Admiral - Fleet Admiral I kn

The game looks really good for Beta 1..I can't wait to see how this one evolves. A couple of things though: 1) the tutorial text box is in an awkward spot on the screen. I find myself trying to manuver around it to interact with objects. 2) asteroids have the caption "recruit" on them...not sure why. 3) camera controls seem a bit too sensitve.
Just read the news over the weekend...these guys are the biggest boobs I have ever seen. My gawd.... Stardock, you jsut keep doing what you're doing. Every sale you get prooves that they shouldn't exist. Good on ya.
Hey All, Congrats on making a great game...good job to all of you at Stardock. I'm wondering if we can put some user control into fleet battles. This was probably a design decision day 1, and its probably not going to happen, but I'd love to be able to control the targeting of my fleet. Cheers.
Me too...unistalled and then reinstalled the multimedia fixed it.
I've downloaded all media, tutorial and movie packs...still no sound on my end either.
In Star Trek etc there where respected "boarders" of Federation etc. This should be implemented here as well. My boarders should be respected by the nieghbouring AI and so should systems being colonized by my side.
I've noticed in Beta 4 that the AI is able to just walk into my space and colonize systems that I already have planets on. Is this the norm? SHould the Ai be able to cross into my space without some sort of open boarder treaty?
