Because GalcivII doesn't run on Windows Vista, I've tried to reinstall it on Windows XP Home (on the same computer). Because I had uninstalled it previous I had to download it again (or, could I find the downloaded files anywhere?). But now, if I'm starting the game, I get a message box which says "The product appears to be validated but the serial number or the machine SID don't match.". What can I do to run the game on XP again? The serial number is ok, I updated it and compared it with my num

There were a lot of freezes in my games. I could solve most of them trading with another race and try again (moving chains). After I've turned off "follow auto ships" most of the freezes are gone. Until now - nothing seems to work. If I close the game and restart it sometimes it runs one or two ship steps further and then freezes at another job again.
