Can't update the game in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

Does anyone know any workarounds for getting Impulse to properly install the beta demigod update? No matter how many times I download and run the update, Impulse seems to refuse to apply it. I've temporarily copied the files manually and unzipped them over the game directory manually and I seem to be able to play still, but Impulse still thinks the game hasn't been properly updated (which I guess it hasn't). Any log file I can look at to see what went wrong or anything of that

I was downloading forged alliance overnight and during the install phase Impulse popped up a dialog that said I didn't have enough free space. So far, so good. I go off on my harddrive and start cleaning up some old junk to free up space and end up with about double the amount of space needed (16 or so gigs free). Problem updating Multimedia in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I've seen a somewhat similar thread about updating GC but that seems to have worked fine. However, when trying to update the media I get the following dumped out by the log file. I would guess that gc2_multimedia.sdc isn't valid as it's only 57 bytes but any suggestions are welcome. I also tried uninstalling the multimedia pack and then installing again but that didn't work. Neither did a SDC reinstall. -- [Installation] --
