I am seeing a similar problem. I can't set an autopilot for greater than the range of the fleet even on the main map. Javacodetoad I can submit a save game if needed.
There are a lot of good comments on color here. Please remember that there are many of us who are color-blind and/or have vision problems. Please add non color clues in addition to color. J
