2 When Torians talk about numbers in terms of people, they don’t talk of it in terms of individuals. At the smallest levels, they talk about percentages in relation to a den. The number eleven tends to be the accepted number of measurem

A long, long time ago, I had wanted to try putting together the 'mother' of all AAR's. The original intent had been to create an AAR down to an individual level and write from that perspective. The final product came out a bit differently. I know there aren't too many Gal Civ forum lurkers out there these days, but for those of you still out there, I hope you enjoy what I've put together. I'll be releasing chapters over the next few weeks rather than spam the entire

Just got the game here relatively recently, just finished my third or fourth complete game. I've run into both the pirates and peacekeepers. Pirates - no biggie was going for influence victory, had plenty of planets, then just switched to tech victory. While I may be a bit late for the party, I seem to be having similar issues. HP laptop running with a Geforce Go 7600. I've got the most recent update of Galciv as well as the most recent driver updates from HP. At a certain turn, SOMETHING happens and the system hangs. It varies game to game, so not quite sure WHAT it is. Occassionally, if you wait long enough, you'll get to the next screen, but then it stops responding and I need to alt-F4 to get out. The freeze can be reproduced

How about something along the lines of: A mineral mined at mining outposts that was previously discarded as waste has been found to hold properties that increase (insert property here). Mining outposts now increase (insert property here) by a factor of 2,3,5 or what have you.

to me and really would give the One of the twists? How do you actually use the resource? Colony ships are produces much more quickly than constructors and would claim these planets very quickly....
