Thanks brncofan7! Actually my questions is not how to make the skin have a compact version but how to make Windows XP use a compact version that is already made. I don't see it as a setting under Start Menu > Properties. I haven't been able to locate it as a WB setting. It's making me crazy. Thanks!
I'm using Windows XP and I want to have a compact Start Menu (e.g. no text next to the icons Control Panel, Help and Support, etc). I'm trying to use various Windowblinds skins and some of them don't look right without the compact style and I can't figure it out (see the screenshot of the Start Menu on www.guiolympics for the skin G-Pod). The skin in the screenshot is Kewk-Hoe which rules. This may be a stupid question but how do I make my Start Menu not have text on the right (like in your screenshot. I've tried everything and can't figure it out. ARGH!
