Thanks Gear. Here are my specs. All software is up-to-date. I tried clicking around on WB for a few hours to get things how I want, but wasn't able to, as described above, so I don't think it works well enough on this system. Maybe I'll try it again if I get a faster system. I have reached my frustration level limit with it atm. Operating System Windows 8.1 Pro 32-bit CPU Intel Pentium 4 521

03/27/15 Using Win 8.1 with Classic Shell and Avast. I have de-installed both Window Blinds and Skin Studio. Reasons: 1.) WB doesn't work smoothly, which is distracting - maybe it's low specs on my computer 2.) compared to a basic Windows Theme, WB seems to slow down my computer, which slows productivity 3.) a Theme is supposed to be Applied after you click the button, but, I see that a restart is required to do it, seems buggy<b
Do they test to see if WB works ok, with Win 8.1 with Classic Shell? . . . I also have Avast 2015 installed.
Here's the screenshot http://i.imgur.com/5QIfJEI.jpg For an example, if I drag the WB icon to the right of the Avast icon, and then do a Restart, after getting back to the Desktop, it will look as you see it here in the screenshot, on the far left of all the icons in the Notification Tray
I'm using the WB Win8 (Window 8) (Preset) theme, with a couple of modifications, so it's not a user made theme that could make drastic changes.
Now I'm thinking also - because I use Classic Shell . . . In Win 8.1, when I click the thing in the bottom right to "Show Desktop," sometimes it gives me a medium dark grey screen for a couple of seconds, with a line of some un-readable text . . . kind of annoying . . . maybe my computer or video card the reason: Operating System Windows 8.1 Pro 32-bit CPU Intel Pentium 4 521 Prescott 90nm Technol
Maybe mine works because I use Classic Shell? . . http://www.classicshell.net/
Because, the changes that I make in WB do not take effect until after a Restart I'm using the latest version of Avast 2015 - could that have anything to do with it? I was going to wait a week before posting my user Feedback. I write notes about what I go through to get what I want. I will give you the current version: CURRENTLY IN USE - DO A RESTART AFTER APPLYING THE SETTINGS, FOR THEM TO TAKE EFFECT Win8 (Window 8) (Preset)<b

Using Win 8.1 Pro All the other icons in the Notification Area behave, but not WB. It will not stay where I place it, after a Restart. It want to be #1 on the left side. Please help.
Make the changes you want / Apply / close WB / do a Restart / when back to Desktop, changes are in effect Why doesn't it tell you to do Restart?

OMG, thank you moshi I wonder why they make such a big deal about the "new" Snap feature in Win 8 This is supposed to be a big deal with Apps in Win 8.1 also They should just say what you said, and that it has been enhanced for Apps
A couple of places, I read that it's bad, for security reasons, to use an e-mail address as the login ID. Why? I can think of 2 reasons, but I think there are more: 1.) What if you delete that e-mail address due to spam, and you didn't change it here first? You wouldn't be able to get back in to change it. <span style="fo
Win 8.1 has Snap left and right 50%, How about horizontally Is there a program that can do this? I can do it with spreadsheets in Excel 2010: View / Arrange All / Horizontal </
No, if I take the default here, this is the size it goes to, 8 pt . . . 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 show up in the initial drop down window, 18 pt is a little big, so I go with 14 pt If I need to see something bigger in Chrome, I use Ctrl + + + to zoom <span sty
Ok, I just did that . . . I tried it in Compatibility Mode for Win XP SP3 / Win 7 / Vista . . . no change As you can see from the screenshot, it's a rectangle in portrait . . . and it's the same size as the Login window . . . My guess is that it is exactly the same size as the Login window . . . why is it keeping that size? What could be preventing it fro
Thanks. I have put the screenshot on ImageShack. In Win 8, if you: right-click on desktop / Personalize / Display . . . It looks like they don't give you this spec anymore of 96 dpi, just: Smaller (100%, the default, I assume 96 dpi), Medium, and Large <span style="font-size:
Using Win 8 and a 23" monitor . . . How do I attach a screenshot? The GUI worked after an install, I changed a few things, now I only see the top left quarter of it. No change even if I set it to Win 7 or W
