Thanks for the clear explanations again guys. I've started playing the 'Dread lords' campaign but with the original calciv2 executable as Guanathor suggested. I've played mission 1 & 2 so far and they were fun. 2 I messed up the first time and landed in a deficit I couldn't get out of. This is great. This game has (for me) a sort of 'old-school' feel to it in a very, very good way that I really enjoy. I'll see how long the campaigns remain interesting to me

oh, ok. I've only played one game up to now and have never gotten my spy level for another civ up to 'high' yet so I've never been able to see what's behind 'view'. I kinda stupidly assumed it would be the same thing as the 'spy' button brings up. Thanks for the reply!

Hi, Question: Am I understanding something wrong or is the spy system a bit funny; if I press view on an enemy planet I get a message that that data is secured and not accessible to me (or something like that (in game message, not an error message)) but as soon as I have 1 spy I can press 'spy' and see all details about the planet (improvements, stats etc.) before even placing the spy. i.e. I can just use the 'spy' button to see the details of any planet regardless of

Ok, thanks! What do you mean by (winning path) if I play other paths it doesn't work? I've been reading some more on these forums what do you think about the whole thing about 'Twilight' being broken? I've only played 1 game but haven't noticed other civs not building planetary improvements etc. albeit this was on a small map.

Hi, I'm a new player who bought the ultimate edition on steam which I believe is 'Twilight of the Arnor' can I play the dread lord campaign with this? I read somewhere that it doesn't work properly with Twilight. Is the Twilight campaign the only one I can play? If not which do you think I should play first?

Hi, I'm new to this game. Is it possible to tranfer population from one colony to another. I have one planet that is overcrowded while another is struggling to grow. I tried to load a colony ship and send it to the other planet but when it arrived I could only launch it again and was asked again how many I wished to load off the low population planet.
