Please disregard. I went the uninstall/reinstall route. One minor blip (something about one file- I forget the exact wording); I chose to "ignore". Rest of installation went fine, without further incident.
Hello- I own the GOG.com version of Sorcerer King: Rivals. I was gratified to discover that I was not missing the campaign expected to be released in SK:R, but in fact could expect to see it in the release of update 2.1.
