I am using the latest ObjactDock Plus on Windows Vista Home Premium 32. I have it set to show the dock as a drawer at the top of the screen with mouseover activation. Everytime I restart my PC the dock stays on top of everything else but the settings have not changed in OD properties. The only way I have found to correct this is to select the "Tabs always on top" button and then deselect it. However, this must be done with every restart. I have uninstalled OD P
Something Karl Rove said crystallized it for me. We've elected a Poet Laureate more than we have a President. Maybe that will work out, maybe it won't, but all we've really heard is well-controlled, well-disciplined heraldic poetry.I'll now await the flame-throwers who will accuse me of all sorts of mental defects for mentioning a certain man's name.
I would have to agree. Obama's words are eloquenst and inspiring. However,
Now that the election process is complete, I have had some time to allow the results to sink in. While we may disagree on the benefits of the outcome, I'm sure we can all agree that the end of the constant barrage of political advertising is a change for the better. However, Change is the topic that I am having the most difficulty with. Please understand that it is not change itself that
Yeah, but if people voted for Obama just because he's black, doesn't that mean McCain got votes for being white? I don't think it's that easy. I think in the wake of his win, the gravity of the first black president hit hard. It did for me, and I was extremely conflicted over who to vote (yes, I love both of these men; it was like watching two of my best friends fight). But when Obama won, it was about change. I am not sure what he will do, but it was great to wake u
was chosen simply because I was Black If you really think he was chosen simply because he's black, you haven't been paying attention. If that's the case, how come Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have never been seriously competitive in the past? Obama offered something that voters wanted: Hope and Change. You don't have to agree with them -- but to say that he only got there because he's black is bothersome to say the least. &nb
Terrible day for America indeed, but hopefully we can get back to normal.
A terrible day indeed. Look on the bright side. We're about to acquire a whole lot of new "friends." Seriously though, I honestly hope it all works out. I really do.
Well never saw a beta before Christmas or New Years. I hope we're close.
Vista Home Premium CFX kept my processor churning at over 50% till uninstall
Gotta love this. There are actually people paying hundreds of dollars to upgrade from "lesser" versions of Vista to have animated wallpaper running on their desktop! pfffftt!
I was using Firefox and Opera as alternate browsers but now with IE7 there is simply no need. Of course it all comes down to what you personally prefer but many of the reasons for not using IE no longer apply.
Im using IP 3.10.101 and cannot change .ttf or .otf font icons. They show up in IP as changed but the actual file icons do not change. I've rebuilt icon cache, reboot, etc., but nothing. any ideas?
Yeah, they look pretty good but I can't get over "Yahoo! Widgets" I'd get the same impression if I saw McDonald's lobster tails. DesktopX rules for me.
Any difference between WB 4.99a[rc].003 and 5.00.001?....other than designation. Not that it really makes any difference. I'm happy to have the full release just the same.
Arghhhh! Nothing but default windows WindowBlinds 5 BETA Troubleshooting Report: - troubleshooting report - WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. If you suffer visible corruption (overbright) on the frames and have a NVIDIA board then pl
In the windows XP default icon set (changed to default Vista set) I can change .png, .gif, .bmp but not .jpg. Does the system not allow changing this icon?
are you talking about this? Link
I guess my first impression was one of sound and not so much sight. v-i-s-t-a....I don't know, like Windows Tulip or Daisy. Just wimpy. Maybe if they come up with a fruity enough logo, you'll start seeing it in hollywood films instead of an apple. Heck, Palm just did it with their new generation pop tart logo. Looks like it belongs on a can of orange soda.</f
I always get "windows can not find IconX.exe" when I shutdown Windows XP. It would be wonderful if that problem went away.
uber con, Adobe apps are famous for not playing nice with WB skin colors - especially dark skins. I too am using OS X Tiger by Steve but I'm using the graphite sub and I find the background in Photoshop easy on the eyes.
BlueDev, A thousand thank you's! Don't know how I missed that ..... much better now. -zO
I've just installed the latest OD+ and I noticed that it shows up as an item in the taskbar. It has no functionality - it just sits there until I close OD+. It does not appear to be causing any problems that I'm aware of but it is a bit distracting. Is this SOP or a glitch?
It is not because they like Bush. They believe they have a better chance to make a living than where they come from. . . . . and yet they have so many other choices where President Bush is not the leader and better opportunities exist. <TABLE cell
If President Bush and his policies are so globally hated, why do we still have such a huge immigration problem i.e., millions scrambling to get in every year. And, YES....I've already checked last years stats and they're not all people from impoverished countries that would move to hell for a hot meal..........(in advance - nice try though) It's like a kid that screams at the top of his lungs that he HATES ice cream and then when nobody is looking
Not to worry. When was the last time the UN took a stance on anything and backed it up (other than scandals and cocktail parties) It's a club for people with big mouths and small balls. The UN building needs to be relocated to Tehran or Pyongyang and the 4 Billion a year we dump into that cesspool can be redirected to something that wont be used against us. Seriously, the UN needs a major enema.
Actually, the most humerous aspect to this "jab" is......this is what their message has been reduced to. We can't get him in a national election so we'll do the next best thing - mock a US President in the undies of the french. On it's own, it is pretty funny though - and equally pathetic in it's under-lying message (pun intended)
