Greetings, I am new to Galactic Civilizations II and I was wondering if it's possible to play GalCiv2 with friends in a multiplayer game, similar to how Sid Meier's Civilizations does? I looked through Metaverse and Tournaments and I wasn't too sure if I was looking in the right places. I was wondering if someone could clarify for me if it's possible to play multiplayer with friends and where I'd go to be able to do that.

Greetings, Everytime I try to login to the Metaverse, GalCiv2 - Ultimate Edition stops responding and crashes on me. I tried reinputting my serial, creating a new user account, and trying to access the Metaverse through different computers. I'm running Vista64bit and Windows7. I do have the lastest patch update. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and if there is a solution to the problem. Thank you for the assistance.
