Now if we could only get M$ to swallow its pride also and give up on the stupid "right-click, drag thru forty submenus" bit and give us real keyboard shortcuts, the world would be a truly happy place.
Hey folks, I was just wondering if anyone out there knows of a app, DXobject,widget or thingamajig that will animate the entire desktop? OSX has several small programs that run screensavers or even movies as your desktop "picture," and I was wondering if there were any good XP equivalents out there? I run simple video clips and slideshows on my iBook and it looks swell, so I get bummed when I switch to my XP machine and its all static stoneage. <img s
XP is the best Product? Uh, yeah. Make that no. Best marketing that's unquestionable, but still a crap OS. I use both OSX and XP, and OSX beats XP no question. If MS gets its act together and ditches all the legacy support (a lot of the problem from what I understand) does a full rewrite to cleanse Windows of all the bandaid stuff that makes it crash, then we would be in business. But I hear Longhorn is just another "good code on top of bad" story. Hop
