Um, you can have individual Star bases for races, just make it require a unique tech that only one race has access to. This requires editing the star base file with notepad, since theirs no editor for it.(It honestly not that hard, just copy and paste an existing one to the bottom, making the necessary changes to names, requirements, and abilities) Unless he meant a custom star base model(graphic), which you would have to create with some 3d imaging software I'd imagine..
I just want to be able to tell my ships what to attack, so if your outnumbered, you can actually take a couple enemy ships out, instead of just putting each one at half health. Oh and like have a couple different modules that you can switch power to eg. Reroute engine power(maneuverability drops), full power to shields(def up)/weapons(atk up) or any combination of those. Including this, they should have it so your manuverabilty affects your hit/miss. Oh and reinforcement
Hmm, nope that didn't work. My tech tree is to blame. I'll try fiddling some more and see what i come up with. -I couldn't seem to remedy the problem, but I discovered it also crashes when I use cheats to switch to my custom race with my custom tech tree. Might just start over, since it was basicaly a edit of the Krynn tree. --Never found out what caused it, but I have restarted and am already further along then before, thanks for your help!
