Thanks now working but i had to reinstall it yet again to have it work

Ok I just got galactic civilizations 2 ultimate edition on steam and Ive got one problem. When the game is running I get no text on any buttons in the game I have reinstalled and updated it twice and still no luck. Any help you can give would be great. Thanks.
