So yeah, the AI cheats like nothing. Somehow the AI players all have basically every mid-tier technology after only a couple years, yet remarkably they have none of the early techs. I can't seem to actually change my custom race ship style. Okay, so as near as I can tell I use one of the premade ship styles, then I go in and I can change the existing ships to ones that I've made. Thing is, it doesn't actually work.
