I got my laptop working somewhat again, though I had to manually create Twilight/Mods- gonna try a test game to see if it's working properly

Well, my laptop finally decided to kick the bucket, so I won't be able to get any more information on this game until I get it repaired or replaced. [e digicons]v_v[/e]

It looks like the minors' homeworlds were affected by the glitch too. there's also a bunch of stuff in the exiting sequence in the debug that I thought I'd edited into the original post, but it didn't stick, I guess. It's my computer that freezes, not the program. The screen flashes as though changing the resolution back and forth, then says the display driver has crashed and recovered and freezes. The D3DERR messages seem to coincide with the driver crashes (during which I put my computer to sleep and then wake it up). I've never had this problem before yesterday.

I invaded three of the Dread Lords' planets in "Apocalypse" (Beginner difficulty, IIRC), and noticed one of them had no initial colony. I have only researched Soil Enhancement, and I have 20/40/40 funding. The other two planets still had a week left on the Habitat Improvement and nothing queued except Terraforming, so the planet didn't miss much...
