So I sometimes wonder how powerful is the GCverse in general compared to other factions from other Sci fi television series/books/games? I always imagined that GC will be on the top of the tier of the scale like they would be on Culture level of technology so where do you think that the GC universe would be and how powerful do you think that they are?
I would like to know how come there are not that many fanfics that are in the Galactic Civilizations area? I always see fanfics for other 4X games but I barely see any for this one. What is the case for lack of fanfics on this game? And if anyone can find any that would be great.
Well what I mean is I see that ther is the option to build battleships but I can never build one in the game but I can build destroyers and stuff.

I was wondering who on here plays X3? I have the game and gave up on it because I thought it was to complex. I don't know how to play the game except for flying my ship. That is the only thing I know how to do. I don't know how to do anything else in the game but fly around and do some combat missions. I also don't know how to build or become rich. When I do a hard combat mission in a sector. I often let the AI take care of the piolts and then I take care of the rest. I don't know how to play

What was your largest empire that you have created? My empire that I had I had 160 colonies and 310 ships in it. I also had about 3 starbases. Before Pirates came back and destroyed most of it. How many ships and planets and stations did you have? I tried to become the most advanced nation first than I try to build up military. What is your strategy?
