Crashes on startup - hah resolved. in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

ok Debug Message: D3DERR_DEVICELOST I edited the Prefs file and changed the resolution to what my desktop is currently. then it ran fine. updated my video drivers, my resolution is fine.. just hangs and crashes on starup. here is the debug dump. any suggestions? - newly installed.
