I updated my drivers from Intel to the most recent, and I'm still getting an all black screen.
Hello. I've been having a very similar problem to the original poster, uninstalled a while ago to make some space, reinstalled and it goes straight to black when I try to load it up. It does this with both Dread Lords and Dark Avatar. None of the listed tips have helped me.
