I'm using IE8 on an ASUS laptop that's less than a year old. Asus.msn.com was the default homepage when I bought it and I never changed it. I know the situation I described seems to be very unlikely, but I ask you to believe me, because it did happen.
Sure Doc. Don't know how to create links yet, but the site was - asus.msn.com I clicked on a news article that was on their current events slide show header and it redirected me to a related site containing the article. Also a window popped up telling me the Live Messenger was being installed. Like I said NO "do you want to install?" just "you'll eat it and like it."....
I'm wary of installing ANYTHING from MS because I clicked a news topic at the MSN website and it INSTALLED Live Messenger WITHOUT asking me for ANY permission whatsoever. MS Malware? Seriously? Has this happened to anyone else?

Played a game using smaller pop caps and adjusting my building strategy to reflect them. Approval on All planets stayed high even as caps reached max. I even built an economy strong enough to effectively counter a "spies everywhere" mega event and still stay in the green! Once again good tip and THANX! [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e]

What concerns me most is the potential of these soc sec numbers being sold to foriegn companies that may be associated or under the thumb of their government's espionage department. Sounds like a good way for them to give the shaft to the tax system of an already ailing superpower.
